The Story Behind VGS
Anthony Velazquez served in the United States Marine Corps and experienced firsthand how difficult it was to locate veteran benefits and opportunities after leaving military service.
Countless resources existed — VA education, business programs, financial tools, entrepreneurship opportunities — but they were scattered across dozens of organizations, often conflicting, and nearly impossible to navigate. Veterans were spending years missing opportunities simply because no single organization brought everything together.
That realization became the foundation for Veteran Global Solutions. VGS was created to serve as the centralized hub for veterans, active-duty service members, military families, and surviving spouses — connecting the military community with every resource they have earned.

Anthony Velazquez is a United States Marine Corps veteran, entrepreneur, business executive, and passionate advocate for the global military community. During his time in the Marine Corps, he proudly represented both the USMC and the United States in international wrestling competitions as a member of the All-Marine Wrestling Team — including the 1999 National Championship team.
Following his military service, Anthony built a successful career leading large-scale industrial projects before transitioning into entrepreneurship. He has since founded and developed multiple companies in financial technology, business education, digital commerce, and global payment solutions. He serves as CEO and Chairman of Lumora International and is the founder of Veteran Global Solutions.
Like many veterans, Anthony discovered that countless benefits, educational opportunities, and business resources existed — but were scattered across dozens of organizations and difficult to find. That realization became the foundation for VGS: a centralized hub ensuring no veteran has to navigate life after service alone.
Anthony is also the proud father of a daughter who benefits from the education and opportunities made possible through the veteran benefits he earned in service — reinforcing his belief that military service creates a legacy that extends beyond the individual and can positively impact future generations.
His vision reaches far beyond the United States. Anthony believes every veteran — regardless of where they live — deserves access to world-class education, business opportunities, financial tools, and a community that understands their journey.
